I have an 8 year old bull that has served his purpose and am going to butcher, the last one we made mostly hamburger out of and even it was like BBs.
Any tips on what to feed him or what to do to make the meat more tender?

Hang him a couple of weeks and dp a farm kill so he is calm before he's wacked.
