Try this link

That will get you to the main CT Online page but going from there to the forum still results in the "redirected too many times" error in Chrome.
I have to use the add-on numbers I posted in the other thread to get here.

I don't know if adding the following sec id # to the normal url in the address bar works for anyone else or not, but it works for me. It needs to be pasted or typed immediately behind the normal CT board url.
?sid=bb6ab56338f5c8c59dcfe29251f88557

using the following is also currently working for me in Chrome. (you may or may not have to include the period at the beginning)
.cattletoday.com/forum/

None of the fixes help my phone. I can only get on at home. I used to could really pass the time here piddling with my phone. It's actually breaking my habit of coming here.

I had problem also getting on with my iPhone. I cleared the history and all the cookies and ever since that everything works fine.

Google is making all sites go to upgraded security. That's the https:// in the URL. There is an access file where it forces your browser to use the secure site. So if you login with http://cattletoday.com/forum/ it forces the browser to https://cattletoday.com/forum/ and I screwed it up initially and got it to looping. And it filled up your cache with bad info. If you are using Chrome you can clear your cache by clicking on the three little dots in the upper right hand corner and selecting More Tools and Clear Browsing Data then the Clear Data button. Other browsers just Google Clear Cache and the name of your device. Should clear up a bunch of these problems.

Posting pictures is a different problem. The upgraded security won't let you embed pictures or files from another site. Some people were embedding malicious files. I'll have to find a solution to that problem. Hosting the pictures on our server is one solution.

Sorry I screwed everybody up.

Clearing history/cookies/data is still not working for me in Chrome. Still getting the "too many redirects" error.

Yes, I have noticed the 'https' and little 'lock' icon on the address bar now, where before the 'https' was shaded and instead of a lock there was the exclamation point in a circle.
Thanks for your continued work on the board Mr Gravlee.

Finally got logged back on today.....

Tried to update my email to one I actually use.....authentication request finally worked yesterday.

I didn't get the idea, is it a VPN or something like that? Cause sometimes if you cannot access some sites is because of the regional restriction. Sometimes you can find the local alternative. For example I was looking for a hashflare codes on the website, while I was in Japan but it didn't let me enter. After that I found japanese verrsion of the website http://hashflare-redeem-code.net/ja/ and it worked like a charm. Maybe something similar happens in your case.

I quit trying. Too much junk already.
Lol.....just face it. Your to old to want to take the time to figure out a new way....pretty much getting their myself!

You should be able to post images/photos if you follow these directions:
Copy this link and save it as a bookmark/favorite:
https://postimages.org/
1. In a separate tab or window, open that link.

When you get there, you should see this:
postimg.jpg

You do not have to register or join to use this free image poster.

2. First, choose which size image you want, or choose 'do not resize my images'.

3. Then, just select or click 'choose images'.
4. From there, it will open the folder on your computer just as it always worked. Just select the image from your computer you want posted.

Postimg will go thru it's little thing to upload the image, it will read 100%, then say 'complete'.

5. Then the following will appear:
2ndpostimg.jpg

(There will be a little more on that page, including over on the left, an option to upload another image. If you are going to want to post a 2nd image, do not close that tab or window yet)
You have to choose one of the options. left click to select it, then right click to copy it.
I usually choose 'direct link' and that copies the url to your img to your computer clipboard. (the old app did this automatically)
Then return to the CT reply and use ctrl/V to paste the url to your reply.
Now, that means folks viewing your reply or post will have to click that url and see the image at Postimg. If you want the image to appear IN your post, you must enclose the url with the correct UBB code, which is brackets with the letters img inside: [type img here] followed by the url and at the end of the url, another set of brackets with /img inside them: [type/img here].

OR, instead of choosing 'direct link' you can choose "Hotlink For Forums" and you won't have to do the UBB code & bracket thing, but you will still have to copy & paste the link that postimg sends to your clipboard..

Try it one time, you will see it is not as complicated as it may sound.
DO be aware, that postimg does not like to resize huge images and it does not like screwy file names. It works faster if the image is already around 640X480 or close to it.

Now I'm hungry....

(vette...I'm still waiting for you to post your family's kolache recipe)

My wife’s birthday party a couple days ago. That was just part of it. Lol

I think my nephew has Mom’s notes but I do have one she used somewhere. I’ll try to remember to scan it and post it within a couple weeks.
