Both just happened to run into people who were honest and knew how to market things on a large scale. One was able to buy back his family farm he had lost - and the neighbor's and their neighbor's farms - after getting a hand up with his invention. What strikes me the most is I scratch my head and wonder why I hadn't thought of that because they were are so simple.
