Went to farm to find this. Second tree this year to fall, the first one was a Walnut this one is just a piss Elm. Just found some more work to do. Lucky it took out part of a fence I was planning on tearing out and putting up steel pipe fence in its place. B&G

I feel for you. I hate fooling with downed trees. We had some high winds a few weeks ago and blew down several across the farm. The ones that weren't on a fence are still lying there.

Around here it seems that we can have gale force winds and the trees are fine, and then suddenly on a windstill day they'll just fall over.

I have a half mile of fence down a blasted ravine I have to fix, it's going to be a fun job.. bleargh!

I have been fixing what deer and vehicles have gone through in the last 2 days . No matter what causes it , it is a real PITA .

Hopefully you get some fire wood out of the deal though .

At least it picked the right area to fall, that shed looks like it was in striking distance if it decided to go that way.

Good point Ken! I was lucky as that fence is only bout 80' feet long and I had planned to tear it out down the road anyway. B&G
