I have been sorting through all the old photos, thought you all might like to see some of them.

Keren, I really enjoyed the before and after shots! Very interesting. What does 'hoof n hook' mean? Will be interested in seeing what the actual breeds are on them.

Wait, I think I got the hoof n hook thing...before and after slaughter?

One year I was a a show with a group of steers and this lovely old lady came and started talking to me. As we were chatting, she mentioned that she had heard a bit about hoof and hook competitions; she thought that the hoof part was when we took their halters off and they got to run around the ring by themselves, and that the hook part refered to something we used to lead them with. I didn't have the heart to correct her :)
