My trailer axles are bent(sag in the middle like a U) and I either need to fix them or replace them. They are drop axles, if I replace them can I use straight axles or do I need to go with drop axles?

Torsion axles or on leaf springs? Straight axle will make trailer sit higher and you will have alot more clearance from top of tire to top of fenders. Some axles have slight "bend" from factory. Also if on leaf springs it is possible to buy the weld in stubbs for drop or straight and make you own axles if you can weld.

You would have to figure out if straight axels would make your wheels rub on your fender. Trailer axels are meant to be bent. But it sounds like yours are bent in the wrong direction. They should have the hump on the top. If they have the hump on the bottom, then they need replaced.
