Tom you asked what brands of wireless cameras are good. My mom in her black Friday shopping bought me some Uniden wireless cameras to put on my front and back porch and driveway. They are good quality from what I can tell this photo was taken at night. It does need a power source and what I like about it its the same as my ADT system there is an app if you have a smart phone where you can view your cam from wherever you are. I hope this helps. It came with 2 but can add up to 2 more
