Had a big surprise today. I went to check on the cattle and one cow had feet hanging out of her rear. New she would calve anytime.
But just feet no nose and the feet were upside down. So after about an hour of working and coaxing by myself I finally got her in the squeeze. Got my pullers and pulled the backwards upside down little bull and he hit the ground and sneezed. Needless to say I was a happy camper. Would have bet the farm on him being dead and felt like I would just luck out and save the cow.
This was the 6th calf the old gal has had.
After she cleaned him up he got up and started looking for a place to get a shot of milk.
