Anyone heard from TN cattle?

Wondering how his ranch management venture is going....

The deal fell through about 3 weeks before we were to completely move in to the house etc. It's been crazy the last two months to say the least and I haven't been on here hardly at all or posted. The short story is I started seeing red flag after red flag from the owner (would've been my boss) and finally me and my wife sat down and decided this wasn't the right thing to take our family into. For the record she (my wife) never had peace about the whole thing before I started seeing bad things coming from the owner. When I notified the owner of my/our decision he wasn't happy but in the end he even admitted he had changed his tune on some things that were of great importance to me being able to have a legit shot at being successful. So right now I'm completely out of the cattle business.

Well, sorry to hear that the deal fell through. BUT, it sounds like you did the right thing and it sounds like you and the other guy parted on half-way decent terms.

I am glad, though, that you paid attention to the red flags. So many people don't. I know on an occasion or 2 I didn't. At least you didn't find yourself in a really bad situation.

I also just realized I hadn't been notified about getting a PM because I changed my email. We got rid of Comcast and I went to gmail. How do I change that so I can get the notifications again? Sorry for the delayed answers.

I'd say you just need to contact the moderators but you might also let your ol' pal in Brentwood know you're new e-mail addy since the last e-mail I sent you bounced back. :shock:

To change your email go to the user control panel link at the top.

Then click the profile tab.

Then click the Edit account settings tab.

You should be able to change your email address there.

I am sorry that things didn't work out, however thank goodness you saw the red flags and found out that it wasn't a good thing before you committed.
