She is about 2 weeks old now. She runs and bonces around like crazy but I just can't believe how small she is and not needing any help at the get go. Last calf we had about this small had to be tubed and wouldn't suck at all he was probably 30lbs at most but, anyways just sharing a pic of this little girl I took this mornign. All have a good day.

Nice picture and little one. We had a tiny one (heifer was bred at 6 months), about 45 lb, did it all herself. I have a late calver this year who had an ordinary sized heifer calf, she is a little s*** disturber among the bigger calves.

She may be small, but she looks like she is going to be a good one. Look at her forearms, they aren't skinny. It may be a good indication of the muscle she will have in her shoulders. I have never seen a cow or bull with nice forearms that turned out to be lacking muscle.

She sure is cute, I wonder if mom will let you hug her neck?

Chuckie, before the little one. If you had a bucket of corn momma would stand still and let ya lean on her. But now with her first calf she is not mean but wont let me get with in 5' of her if the baby is with her.

Good picture. She may be little, but she looks strong. She will soon fill out and catch up with the others. She is as cute as can be and has a fine looking mama.

That sure beats having one too big. The cow produces the same amount of milk either way. She'll get it. She'll grow out just fine.

little girl didn't want to stop eating so I could cross to feed the girls. :) Last one on the spring herd.

Then yesterday we had our first Fall Calf.

Fallowed by this little one  Momma had her hid well, took awhile to find her

just 1, I got out and rubbed on him. He is a little guy probably 50lbs or so. I did not pick him up to really know but he is long.
