tika T3 lite

I'm going deer hunting next weekend up in Kentucky. I decided to take my Tika T3 Lite 30.06 since I have not shot it much. Just enough to sight it in as usable. This evening I thought I would run some cheap Remington corelokt 150's through it to get used to the trigger. Evidently this rifle really, really likes this cheap ammo. It was stacking one big hole at 100 yards. I am ultra impressed with the accuracy of this 6 lb rifle with a noodle barrel. I think I will go ahead and stick with this combo. I have finally found a rifle that loves the corelokt bullets. I am digging this vortex scope as well. Move it a click and it moves 1/4" on the button.

Bass Pro has them on sale right now for $599.00. Finding one used is a problem at least in my area.

That's pretty good. I may have to do a price match with gander mountain or run down to bps. I just have been buying weapons private party for the last few years

I have a M77 -06 that won't do crap with high end ammo but drives nails with 165gr. Core-lokt bullets. Maybe it's an 06 thing. Best of luck on the hunt. Not much better than taking a new gun out that you really love to shoot and the anticipation of putting it to use.

Hope you folks have learned something from shooting this cheap ammo. You been paying to much for high priced ammo!!!
