Thoughts on this feed mix..

We are using this mix on some weaned calves and bottle calves after they are bigger. Opinions on this are wanted, try to stay at 1.5% to 2% of their weight,

350# of soyhulls
350# of cracked corn
200# distillers grain-dry
50# purina beef pre-mix mineral
25# wet molasses

That is a hot feed. I would start them out real gradually and make sure they are cleaning up the feed quickly. Should be a real good feed if you are a careful feeder.

It is around 13%.

Tom, Is that Purina Pre-Mix an A,D and E Vitamin Pre-Mix, or is it just a mineral mix?
