" What predicament is that? That officers are accountable for their own actions while on duty? Heaven forbid!" This is a simple case and no blood wes spilt. Too often an officer has a second to make a judgment call. That call may involve life and death. As a veteran I do know this. The officer may not know if the gun is loaded, if it is real, if the individual is mentally ill or a thousand things. he may only have a second to decide. Then those who are wiser can spend months deciding what was the best course to follow. Excuse the rant but this is important to me. we have 2 grandsons in the military, one in Turkey and one in the special forces, army. Excuse MY rant. farmghuy
