I like them. They look good, many people say it cost too much to raise your heifers, but my son is now picking the better calves from the better cows, n saving some, and has a few which I kept, when I was doing it, but he has some very nice ones now, I think he kept 5 this year, and my thoughts, { They as heifers are worth more than thier mothers}, n he don't feed them like show cows either. when they can make it n finish out like that on little to nothing extra n produce well, and don't have to worry about all the things they are exposed to from a sale barn, and not knowing bad habbits that thier Sire/Dam's may have had. Thats the way to go. Good luck.

The cattle look good. Since you asked about the bull nettle, I sprayed Grazon P+D about a month ago and it cleaned up some of mine. A mix of Grazon P+D and Remedy would probably wipe them all out. I plan to spot treat the few I have remaining with Roundup.

2-4D will kill it but Surmount will keep it gone.
