Friend of mine has a mess on his hands. He leased his store to some non feather wearing Indians and they left him in a bind. Not only were the Indians in the grocery business but they also were in the car selling business and were doing pretty good at it. Reason was they were accepting the car payments through the grocery store and would let their car buyers pay for them with their EBT cards. They got caught and my friend kicked them out of the building but the location is now marked somehow and EBT cards are no longer accepted which puts a hurt on the grocery business even though its under new management. Good thing though, the new grocer has lost that clientele but now has new customers like myself who appreciates not having to wait in line behind the urchins who used to make up the majority of the business at this location.
Now granted its just me and my weird way of looking at things but I don't understand why the government would mark a physical location as bad if its under totally new management. To me, it would seem more reasonable to refuse EBT cards and any benefits to all those who used them improperly to buy cars and such. I guess its just selfish of me and I'm not thinking about those starving children and boy do they have a lot of them.
