I have the title of arena manager at our local rodeo. Yesterday was a fun jackpot event with barrel racing, cow riding, $5500 added team roping, cow hide races etc. Today is the BCRA sanctioned rodeo, slack starts at 10 am.

I have a milk cow that kicks when being milked. We tried a using a flank rope pulled tight and she still kicked just like that rodeo cow. I actually thought of selling her as rodeo stock. What stopped her was a Kow Kant Kick cranked tight before milkng.

One of the funniest events I've ever seen is a wild cow milking contest you could see at ranch rodeos. It's a timed event. Four cowboys have to catch and hold a beef breed cow while one tries to get some milk into a coke bottle. Illegal now I'm sure.

Not illegal, we have a cow milking with three men on foot and the contractor's Brahma x cows. More idiots get run over and hurt than the cows.
