That is a rarity to see them in daylight here. They are in my neighbors pasture across the road from my place.

When it gets hot and dry you can slaughter em midday at any tank that still has water. Easiest pig shooting of the year.

They are plowing the field up as it will be rough when they finish. We have them around here show up from time to time. About a half acre in my hay field is very rough riding a tractor over.

Not here there is a spring fed creek at the bottom of every hill. Normal rainfall at 60 inches a year.
I have four creeks on 90 acres that run year around. Lots of water comes out of the escarpment in Tyler county.
Between thicket and water hunting is the least effective way to eradicate them . Trapping is the most effective.
Watched a fellow buy a 4K trap setup at the feed store earlier this week.

There are several never heard them called anything but the escarpment.
Lots of others I picked Cypress as it is my east property line.
