By Elmer Kelton. Son thought I should read it. Good read. A lot of what were experiencing now with this dry weather.

Bluestem, I read that book a few years ago and it is definitely worth the read. It brought out many emotions, all the way from anger to sympathy, because it touches so many nerves of anyone who has gone through severe droughts and financial hardships and everything else that tears away at the farmers livelihood. The main characters are the same as people you know everyday. Good read for anyone.

I didn't take it as such. Figured I needed to explained it better. Read it if you have a chance. Its almost like Elmer Kelton( the author) has been living in my house.
