The bus stop

A man, his wife, and their nine children were waiting at the bus stop for the next bus. Soon, they were joined by a blind man. A short time later the bus pulled up. There was only room for the wife and the couples nine children. The husband and the blind man decided to walk the 2 miles to their destination. About a half mile into the trip the husband was beginning to get annoyed by the constant tick, tick, tick of the blind man's cane on the sidewalk. He told the blind man, "if you'd put one of the rubber dealies on the end of your stick we wouldn't have to listen to that constant tick, tick, tick." The blind man replied," and if you'd put one on the end of your stick, we'd be riding the bus!"
