I would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving this year.
This is my favorite holiday, it just doesn't get any better with family, friends, good food, and lets not forget football.
My mob will start tricking in today, by Wednesday we will have a full blown war party.
By Saturday I will need a psychiatric help, some might argue that is needed now.
Mrs told me to make sure my man cave was clean cause we are going to have to put some up in it.
 
The thing I'm most thankfull for is that none of either of our familys live close enough to darken our door on thanksgiving day
 
And a Happy Thanksgiving to you CB, as well as to everyone else here at this virtual gathering place.

(yeah, I had to straighten up in my "office" too., which means cleaning all my stuff off the bed, piling my papers up in a neater pile, and vacuming the floor a little)

(I found my good knife and my extra set of rechargable batteries)

1st wave has arrived--my twin just drove up to the door--came down from Arkansas.
 
We are figuring on having alot of company ourselves. Have some friends stopping by today and we're going doe hunting tomorrow. Hopefully a few deer will be heading back south. I am thinking Hook is coming Friday and we'll ship some more deer south with him. One thing about this Holiday is the eating will be great and for more than one day.
 
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday too.

I am grateful and thankful for much. I hope you all have the Thanksgiving holiday you want.
 
Happy Thanksgiving Caustic and good luck on the man cave. Like Greybeard I've been given orders to make "neater piles" in my office area and remove an old tread mill ( I don't know why you can hang clothes just as well from it as a new one).

Thanks CB .. I hope everyone stays safe has fun and eats alot. My people will start trickling in Monday. I have decided to try frying a turkey and baking 1. I am headed to bass pro to get a fryer in a few. I bought the oil 30 bucks couldn't believe it that turkey better be darn good lol

I like thanksgiving, I have more to be thankful for this year than I ever have before. My mom has had cancer for about a year now and is not going downhill, we have been blessed with sevarel good jobs and a good cattle market, I have more grass and hay than ever, my dad came a 1/16 of an inch from no longer having an eye last night splitting wood but he is ok, and I could continue.

Not saying I couldn't dwell on the bad and say it was a really ruff year if I wanted to, but I have to say the very most important things, have been something to be thankful for.
 
I'm enjoying a semi-peaceful day around the house today. This afternoon the battle to stay so busy that I have an excuse not to interact with my sister's family begins. I love them, but they're a lot easier to love when they're at their house four hours away in the city. :lol: I am thankful to have enough to do that I can keep interaction to a minimum.
 
Hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving! It is my favorite holiday but becoming more and more bittersweet as the older generations are lost. On my husband's side of the family, we are the old folks! All the older generations are gone now. On my side of the family, I am thankful to still have both my parents alive and well and especially thankful that they can spend Thanksgiving day together and visit like old friends even though they have been divorced almost 50 years.
 
I enjoy the all grown up grandkids, that still can't keep
from tormenting old Granddad with old stories of my
many mishaps and funny train wrecks. I will live forever
in their memories. Life is good.

Giving thanks and the celebration of the birth of our Savior is a special time of year
This is my favorite time of year
Thanksgiving and Christmas people are friendly, kind and in the spirit
I wish it was like that everyday year round
 
Happy thanksgiving to everyone especially the cooks! Processing two deer, cooking Thanksgiving dinner and sorting three breeding groups is making a busy week around here. Enjoy your families or in Dun's case, NOT.
