Text Scam Alert

There is a scam going around where they send a text say you have a package at the US Post Office warehouse. Within the last week I have gotten two texts. Don't reply to them. I am sure if you reply it will give them access to your phone.

I have gotten those texts also. Since everyone at the PO knows me, and UPS also due to getting regular deliveries for my job, I knew it had to be a false bunch of BS... Erased them off phone..

I received that several months ago. I wondered how UPS got my email address and just deleted it. I still get all my bills so none of them are sitting in a warehouse someplace.

Those are quite common. Not just USPS, but also Fed Ex and UPS as well. Clicking on them can't give access to your phone. They contain a link to a web site that looks official, claiming there is an unpaid fee to deliver the package.
