How are you guys doing with rainfall and the recovery effort?

My pastures are doing great at the moment. Been a few weeks since any appreciable rainfall so the ground is starting to get cracks again.

Here in North Central Texas, we were blessed with good AND timely rain over the winter and early spring. Now, we need a good rain. The last substantial rainfall at our house was March 19th ( 1.9 inches); since then, it's just been a 1/10 or 1/4 here and there that doesn't total up to an inch. Cool season grass is still good but rapidly maturing. Warm season grass is struggling due to lack of rain.

so far we are doing good.some of our pastures are belly deep in grass.the cows lay down an you cant see them.the pools are all nice an full.should get 1 good cutting of hay.
