It's really pretty amazing some of the things they're finding in these lakes as the waters go down. Quit a few stolen cars in one..another had a truck in it that they traced to a guy that died several years after the last time the truck was registered. Truck was never reported missing or stolen. Lots of old refrigs. and stoves.

The place south of me was a limestone quarry. I'm told it is 100+ feet deep. Police divers train in it. There is a fleet of trucks in there. (Guy went bust back in the early 70's for the 1st time) Some cars, including the owner of the quarry biz who committed suicide there. Probably some bodies.

There is a highway and bridge in Sam Rayburn you can now run your boat under. That bridge has been under 30 foot of water for the last 40 years since they built the dam.
