Can your neighbor do work and terrace it to where it drains on your ground?

Then my other neighbor took out a fence ( our fence) and put the riser on my ground. No easement no agreement no nothing.

This has to b illegal. Tired of people pushing me and doing what they want.

Yes the one who put riser on us talked with the guy we cash rent to. His response was well (keith) our cash renter said it was fine. I told him keith doesnt own ground. He said oh well. I talked with the office ( whatever they call it) and that guy said it was a mistake and their sorry it happened. This doesnt change the fact of no easment or permission to do work happened. Some one needs to b held liable or this kind of thing will keep happening.

The other guy paid for his no government assistance. It drainson us. I talked with him and he said it follows the ditch. I said yea but now my ditch will get bigger.

The riser would get moved. The renter would get told to leave the decision making on such things like that to me. The terrace work I don't know about. Can you figure a way to turn the water back on his property?

I think that is illegal. Not to say what he done wasnt.

Havent talked with anyone yet but he diverted water on to me. That would b like me backing water up on him.

Actually my renter told this other yahoo to talk with me. The guy that put riser on us is an old man so he just does what he wants if the other owner is alot younger. Its happened before i have found out.

X2, that riser would be gone quick. If you need to spend a couple hundred on a lawyer, possible even threaten to sue over the cost of your damaged property, including the cost of replacing the fence.

I can't see a fix for the terrace, I had a freind here in Oregon that did the same thing to his neighbor, the drainage became his neighbors problem.

Have talked with them . At first they said we have an easement. I said I wanted to see it. They then couldn't come up with it. I waited on them and I finally called them back. Talked with them and they said it was a clerical error and what is done is done. I have a backhoe from a friend riser will be on his side of fence tonight. I will post pics of this later.

As for the terrace work I think I will stack some old bales in ditch and that will stop a lot of it. till the cows eat it LOL.

I put in all new fence already on the one spot and I didn't take before pics should of. Wasn't thinking just mad as be nice about the whole thing.

Yep, he can't do anything on your land.

This happened This spring so when crops were in I didn't want to do anything.

Told guy that had this done I was digging it up yesterday. When he seen the backhoe show up he rushed right over. Its still in ground we are trying to reach some kind of agreement. I put fence in after he bulldozed it out. Corner post and all.

He offered to pay me for the fence materials but I feel like I am still getting walked on here. I told him that to. He kept saying he was sorry and we need to work this out. I said I would think about it.
