we have some thunderstorms.but we rarely lose power.the tv dish goes out some but comes right back on.will ask about the storms.

I have WildBlue, and overall Im satisfied with it. For the most part we dont lose signal unless there is a real bad storm. Its a little slow, but Im used to DSL internet, which is 5 times faster. Im also just on the basic plan, we could upgrade for like $10 a month to get a faster plan. When the guy came to install it, he said that WildBlue was just hired to provide satellite service for the military, so Id assume they are gonna be a good reliable company that will be around a while.

My brother in law installs them around here and he said that they didn't think the demand would be that great so they didnt buy enough space for people on the satalite. I dont know if that is right, you can never tell if he really knows or is just talking. He has started puting more up recently and says they have more space now? He likes it and says it works good. JHH

signed up to go with wild blue this morning.have to wait till friday to see when they will send the equipment an install it.the equipment cost $300 a big bite out of the hipp pocket.
