We are fixing to buy a new 4 basket Tedder. Going with a krone brand. We have always had the pull type and that's what I'm leaning towards but dad wants a 3pt Tedder. Does anyone have any input? We have never used a 3 pt 4 basket Tedder. Our hay fields are any where from smooth to rough to have a few ditches/terraces and some hill fields

Pull type follow the ground better, 3pt are nice for transport and maneuvering in small odd shaped fields.
Have a Krone 4 basket pull type. It's a good machine, don't use it much though.
The height adjustment on the wheels is stupid and a pain in the ass. Takes two people, and the little bar they give you is nowhere near long enough.

We bought a new krone last year and I love it. Just set the height to the tractor the first time and your good. We ted all our hay once sometimes twice, and the fields are sometimes couple miles apart so the hyd fold and tilt is really nice. Krone seems to be the heaviest built out of all the ones we looked at.
