Does anybody know anything about this bull is he being used at all? His picture shows him as big stout well muscled great hipped bull with really good numbers

He's going to get used and I predict he'll be used heavily. He was born in 2003 and I believe sold in the 2004 TC Ranch bull sale to Lienemann cattle Co. in Nebraska. His first calves would have been born in 2005 and I don't know how many there are since TC would likely have been concentrating on Freedom and now Tradition. He has been leased by Semex.

He has certainly caught my eye with his picture and with his numbers I expect there will be much interest in him. The fact that he is out of the same dam as Foreman won't hurt him either.

Has anyone seen him, his dam, or his calves? If so please post your opinion.

His 1st calves topped the Hoover Angus Sale, as well the high selling heifer was a Grid Topper.

Don't have $ amount though.

SEC are you sure the sale toppers at Hoover weren't TC Gridiron 258 I tried to look it up?

The two bulls that topped the Hoover sale were Lot 5 at 13,000 and Lot 2 at 10,000. Both Gridiron 258 sons. I liked Lot 2, but they had him penned seperately so it was hard to compare. Lot 5 was with two other bulls, in a row of pen of bulls, and too be honest, I couldn't see what was so special of him. Confirmation wise, I suppose Dad, the neighbor and I had 6-7 bulls ahead of him. I guess none of us could see what the big deal was on him.

They had an excellent sale.
