Going to a calf show this past weekend. Not only did I get a speeding ticket for 62 in a 45 that was really a 55
......another story some other time.
Anyway, I have never damaged my tailgate pulling a gooseneck stock trailer. Did it twice this past weekend. One side while loading and leaving for the show....and the other side while loading and coming home.
Left the thing down both times and turned sharp - well you know the rest.
Anybody use those louvered 5th wheel tailgates??? Does that help save tailgates??? Looks to me like you wouldn't have to open the tailgate to hook up. Don't know if I will ever do it again but, since I have to replace my tailgate anyway...I thought I might get some opinions on the louvered gate.
Thanks, Kevin
