I have a momma cow that has a baby calf that is 6 weeks old. Everything is going well with both of them. I noticed that under the very underside of her belly it looks swollen. It is between her bag and from legs. She seems to get around ok and the baby calf seems to be nurseing ok. Any idea what this may be.
 
Edema comes to mind. I had to put one of my cows down a couple years ago due to heart failure, and she was very swollen through the brisket.

Hopefully not anything as serious as that. I'd give your local vet a call though. It's worth the peace of mind.

had a 1-1/2 year old once get a bad case of mastitis and it caused her to swell up underneath.. she died a few days later.

hope whatever yours has is not that serious.
