I have a year old heifer that has been lame for 3 weeks. I noticed it limping so I needled it for foot rot but it wasn't getting any better and then it developed a fever and puss built up on the back leg joint. I got the vet to drain the leg a week ago but she is still very sore and is eating very little. Could it be something serious or will she eventually heal on her own.
