Sutures

I know every situation is different but what is the most common suture technique you use and why. Most of the time i use a simple interupted stitch because usually by the time we get to it its already contaminated usually do to how the injury occurs ie. falling in barn cleaner edge on metal panels etc. I use this because i found if it does become infected it is easier to cut the bottom stitches open to allow it to drain and clean it again . But im always trying to learn so what have yall found that works for you.
