How slow do you fish that roadrunner? Do you fish it on bottom?
Slow rolling you pull it to the surface then let it drop almost to the bottom on a tight line, repeat.

I gotcha. Do you catch fish doing that are does it only work on the turtles? I heard that those roadrunners work good so I bought a couple to try. So far all ive done is hang one up on a snag and lost it.

When the water is real warm or real cold the bass really like that retrieve.

I hooked one with a crappie jig one time and got him in on 6lb line.
For the 2-3 lb bass being the biggest and it's mostly 1-2 lb highbred bluegill, I use a 5 ft ultralight with 4 lb line and that 1/4 oz roadrunner. When I snagged that 3 foot grass carp by the tail it sure was exciting till the hook finally pulled out.
