Sulfa water & selenium deficiency

We are extremely selenium deficient around here. We supplement with triple the dose of se in our mineral year round (as I've posted before I DO NOT recommend this for anyone else - it is toxic)
Anyway, a few years ago (because of a drought) we opened up an old well & had it plumbed to all our outside water sources. Super amount of water supply - BUT - it's high in sulfa. Cattle don't mind, so everything's been wonderful.

Except, slowly, I'm starting to see SE deficient signs again. Poor breeding, scruffy hair coats. Now, I've been told that sulfa can intervere with the obsorption of SE.
A neighbor dairyman has the same problem, so he was told to put peroxide in his water to control the sulfa. He got a tank & a timer to put peroxide into his well. But he has to keep the tank in the basement so it doesn't freeze, and he has a line that runs to the bottom of his well.
My pump in submersed, we have a "bladder" tank in the basement. It would be major job to plumb a line out of the basement to the well.
Has anyone heard of this, and do you know of a different way to get the peroxide in the well. Can I get "tablets" & drop it down the well pipe. Can't pour it down, because it's caustic.
Any ideas???

Jeanne, I have heard that the symptoms of selenium toxicity are similiar to the symptoms of a selenium defficiency. I have no idea personally. Just passing it on. Can you draw blood on some of the worse cows and see if they are lacking?

Excess sulfur intake can mimic Selenium Toxicity, but I don't know about interfering with selenium intake. Our well water contains Hydrogen Sulfide, which gives it a rotten egg smell before treatment, and the cows drink it untreated. We provide a normal level of Se for our area, and see no problems.
I would have the vet there right away for blood work.
