STUBBORN COWS

Looking for advice on getting 2 cows loaded. I have let them go in and out of trailer on their own but soon as I push they jump fence or charge (one has horns). Never had trouble like this before and these gotta go now. Getting out of this business. Any advice is welcomed

Might check around for someone with cattle dogs. Or some Horse hands to rope them and drag them in the trailer. Sometimes a dog gets ahold of their nose a couple times it will line them out right quick. These kinda opinions would be better than someone getting hurt. Good luck. B&G

If the one keeps running at you get you a piece of metal pipe and stand up on the fence and bend it across its nose a few times. As for loading finding a way to crowd them sounds like something you would need so they couldn't get a running start at the fence to jump or to run you over and probably some good tall panels to keep them from jumping.

Lots of solid advice here by others. Another trick.....put a bit of cow shyt in the trailer. Have had the tamest cows balk at a squeaky clean trailer, little bit of poo and even the stuborn ones jump right in. Something to do with smell and safety.

They have their bluff in on you and know it.
Without a real cow dog you are not penning them now. And someone that knows how to work
the dog. You find someone with a real cow dog they will be happy to pen.
All you are doing trying to force the issue is looking for a hospital or liability bill.
It is trickery time have to cut off the water or entice with feed into the pen.
Might take a week or two need to let everything cool off and calm down.
Sounds like you need a pen that will hold Salt Grass girls.

They loaded up them selves. Started pouring rain and trailer was only cover. Got lucky to have friend check on them on way to work. And for the comments of better fence and squeeze. 6 foot and besides through us literally they were squeezed lol
