Twins again this year as of yesterday. Glamous a Reg. LF Dream Doctor dam did it again this time both calves made it. She had twins last year a black blaze face bull and a solid black heifer. The bull calf was born dead and the heifer sold as a feeder. Both calves this time are bulls a solid black one and a black blaze face. She's doing really well with them, now she just needs the food intake pumped up. Brought them into the working lot last night to keep an eye on them. I'm calling them Humid and Hotty. Think June will pretty closely wrap up our calving season until late fall. Yesterday seemed to be a calving day also had my Reg. Heifer I bought from Sunset View have a pretty purebred heifer calf as well as an older cow that I had to assist for the first time. She had a really long and tall big heifer calf that I'm calling WNBA. Hope to get pictures sooner or later if time permits. Just feel really blessed that they all made it yesterday and appear to be doing nicely this morning.
 
Yeah, he's making it this year. Will see how they turn out. They got a long ways to go. Didn't weigh them but they both look to be between 45 and 55 pounds. Several brothers this year so a lot of competition. Got a star face with a white snip bull calf that's looking awesome he's about guaranteed a chance to make a herd sire.

Congrats, gotta love those blaze faces! Where are you in WK, we're not very far apart. It's bone dry here too.

I have a Silversmith daughter (ASA #2636337) who had twins this year by a Milestone son, raising both well so far. She had a single last year, was smaller from birth and never did quite catch up. Makes me wonder if she had twins last year and just never found #2.
 
Clodhopper, I'm in Caldwell Co. off of I-69 or Western KY parkway. You're right it's bone dry and those blaze faces can make you smile at least when they are little. I wouldn't be surprised if she had twins last year. Most of ours seem to come from repeat offenders, they seem to come back to back here pretty often as of the last 10 years or so. Looks like a good pedigree female you have with balanced epd's hope she'll continue to do well with your set. The set here is out of a Dream Doctor daughter (ASA #2500925) sired by a Packin Heat son (ASA #2793119).
