Market report shows bred cows "medium and large 1-2 2 years to short and solid mouth..........." Please expand on what this report is saying. Tks.
 
hats just talking bout med quality cows 2yrs old to short an solid toothed cows.in short say 2yr to 10yr old cows,above 10yrs are short an solid mouth cows,means they still have some teeth in their mouth.

Says nothing about quality. The medium and large are frame size.

doesn't the 1's+2's part cover quality

med-lrg = size?
1-2 =quality?
2 yrs to short and solid mouth = age?
 
The medium and large refers to the frame size. The 1 and 2 refers to the grade [good].
The short mouth means older cows not many calves left in her. like short term.
Solid mouth means older cows, but in good enough health to probably produce another calf or two and be able to maintain her weight.

1 & 2 is muscle score (sort of), a muscle score of 3 is usually thought of as dairy.
