Was wondering if you were watching it Frankie. Some pretty nice bulls there.
They are about an hour and a half south of us. Heard a rumor that they might be buying a large ranch south of us, about 45 minutes away.

I watched about the first 30 minutes yesterday (Wednesday). I turned it back on later, but they were selling the Red Angus. Prices didn't seem to be too good. I caught about another 30 minutes of it today, then they apparently lost the feed.
I like to watch Angus sales and get a look at bulls by the bulls we're AI-ing to. They use a lot of their own bulls, so I don't get as much out of it. But they did have some good looking animals, with good performance data and EPDs.
I think Stephenson-Basin is the largest Angus seedstock producer in the world, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them buying more land. They're kind of like Gardiners. As the family grows, they need to sell more cattle to support them.

About had a heart attack last year watching that one bull go for $250,000.00
They are selling 1400 head. They had 200 red angus bulls yesterday.
So flaboy do you buy over the phone or internet or are you up here in Montana?
When they built that big sale barn on their place it made the local news. :lol:

I have a friend that did his internship on their ranch as part of his college courses. He wanted to get into Red Angus as his family already had a commecial herd. He bought and transported a truckload from them and I bought my bull from him.

I thought I heard that they bought a bull at Holdens Hereford Sale. I wonder if that has anything to do with another ranch? I thought the quality was good though out the sale.
