STD's

Not that I suspect that any STD's are in my herd, im just curious what some of the signs of STD's are? Are they different for cows and bulls?

Trichomoniasis is the main STD. The signs will be.............................NO CALVES! (Less calves anyway)

wow...that stinks. so you really can't catch it before you lose time in a cow...

That is correct. You cannot see it. It's spread from cow to cow by the bull. For peace of mind you could have the bull checked, but the test is not very accurate.

Buy virgin bulls. Be safe.

get the bulls checked ever year and keep vaccinations up to date.
