starting with sheep

i am in 4h and our club is getting into sheep. i am going to get a couple ewes and a ram, so i could show a lamb. are thereany tips you guys could give me?

Find a sheep board for information.
 
cant you just buy a lamb to show?
sheep can be tricky to raise. for one, they dont have a lot of heart. if they get a cold, they die. they arent the sharpest tools in the shed either. ex: "Hello Mr. Doggie! will you be my friend?" they die. They get worms easily, they die. you may have noticed a pattern here. plus they graze pastures down to nothing.
