well finally got started on the fencing.started digging postholes thurs morning.dugg all the holes for the braces an gates.put 6 corners in the ground an concreted them.got to put the gate posts in next week.going to use power poles an boris d arc posts for that.going to put in 8 gates,will set the steel t posts 25ft a part.an put a 7 wire high tensile fence up.dont know how long itll take to get it done not rushing.when i get though fencing ill have 4 pastures.will be easy to move them an get them to the corral
 
Are you going to make every other wire a ground? If you do you will definately keep them off the fence no matter how far they are from the charger or how dry it is.Z
 
im really not planning on making the fence hot at all.but in going to fix a wire or 2 if i need to make it hot.i hate hotwires an barbed wire as well.ive got a friend thats fencing his whole place in high tensile fence an not making it hot.an its keeps his cows in.

well im not planning on any of them going through the fence.but with bulls no telling what they will do.carl your right some cows just do their own thing no matter what.
