I am looking at a steer to buy to show but he is staggy looking. is there any way to get rid of that look? Will he be docked in the show ring because of it? he may not have been cut "properly" for lack of a better term but we are looking into it. this is a nice steer and i would rather not pass him up if there is a way. thanks in advance

How big of a problem will the staggy look be in the ring? Will i be a sure last place or is it a minor problem? thanks

You will definitely lose in the show ring with a staggy steer. Go on down the road and find a breeder that knows how to denut them properly. These people probably didnt band him correctly and he still has one nut. That is why I am all for knife cutting them.

he actually was knife cut and we found that he has a third nut up inside.

thanks for the replies i guess i will have to let him pass
