Squeeze chute blinders

Can anyone tell me how make squeeze chute blinders from baler belt and how to attach it to the chute bars?

The only one I ever saw with blinders just cut the rubber to width and screwed it to the bars with self tapping screws like these guys show:

Dunno how you would do it if you have solid bars tho.

Thanks!! I was thinking there was a less invasive way attaching this, but this give me some ideas to work with.

If you have a horizontal bar somewhere high on your squeeze, might be able to use large hog rings or something along that line, so you don't have to drill into your bars. No sense opening the bars up to moisture and rust if you don't have to.
