Square Hay Baler

I always clear the hay out of bale chamber for winter storage of the square baler. Sometimes I leave the hay in the bale chamber between cuttings (8 weeks or so). Just curious what other folks do and if you think this practice is hard on the baler.

It is a good practice to clean it. I mean to do it each year, but it gets neglected sometimes. The bale chamber in mine got rusty and pitted from failure to clean it. Then when you want to hurry and bale, you have problems.
