There are a number of Hereford operations that are lesser known. I thought it might be interesting to share some websites that I have enjoyed visiting. That doesn't necessarily mean that I am endorsing their cattle wholeheartedly.

I feel they have an interesting set of genetics, some of them going back a number of years. What do you think?

I own a half interest in a grandson of the Hudson 19H bull that they use AI. Our bull was sired by an HVH Hudson bull who is senior sire at Flying G. HVH is the former name of the Loewen operation.

I liked the second one a lot better than springhill. I just looked at the web sites but the sires of springhill look to be very weak in the hindquarter. All thier bulls, but maybe there are better pics.

Both of those operation do a good job raising and promoting the breed. I know both Dave and John personally. I hope to get a better picture of Reality for Dave this summer. He has a nice rearend and top on him that was a picture of him from Denver as a yearling as he was in the pen of three that won that year. Reality produced the most uniform group of bull calves that I have sold to date.

The round barn at Springhill is also pretty cool.
