24 cows to calve January 1st and the last calved today. She was about 2 months off what the vet said she was supposed to be. Had one miscarry as some point from the time I bought them til now. No signs of bagging and the sign that showed it all was when the bull went out she was the first girl he went to. So out of 24 cows had the one to miscarry and one calf to die about three days after it was born. So not to bad. Now on to the hard part raising them and weaning them. :hide:

Congratulations, always good to finish. Now you get to make you sure they all get bred back...
 and congrats on a good season.

A couple of questions for you:

1. What do you plan on doing with the calves? (selling them at auction, feeding them out yourself, selling them private treaty)
2. Do you have access to "cheap" feed?
3. If you have the ability to take a semi load you can save a considerable amount of money versus a truckload at a time..
