I am about to have lime spread on pasture, There are areas where weeds are high, would rather not cut because I will spray for broadleaf killer in fall. I assume it is ok to spread lime like it is and it will just get washed off weeds into soil.

Why wait until fall to spray? From the weeds in the picture, the ideal time to spray would have been in early June.

You can go ahead and have the lime spread. You will not get as even a distribution of the lime because of the tall weeds, but putting lime on acids soils is like taking RollAids for a sour stomach.
