Spraying Rag Weed

Is it too late to spray rag weed in middle TN? Will 2-4D kill it?

No not 2 late and yes 24d will kill it

I would spray it very very soon. I personally, would then wait two weeks, and then shred. I think all the freezing and thawing we had this winter must have been just what ragweed needed to make a big push. I would add a little remedy to. I sprayed some with a pint and a half of 2 four d, and a pint of remedy. Seemed to smoke it pretty good.

All true, I'd like to add around here, by this time of the year it's getting mature and takes a pretty heavy dose. Some may have already made seed. Imho you should use something with a residual , like grazon.
Or shred it, and be ready to get it early next year.
