Was walking up from the barn to the house after checking on one of our cows that I put in the barn. She had a nice heifer calf.
Thought I would walk on the road rather then try to get through the ice and running water on the hill side.
Not a good idea.
Found an ice patch under the running water on the road and down I went!
Jarred my back, smashed my right hand with the flashlight and banged up both my knees.

Stiff and sore this morning. Have some laundry to do to get all the manure off my pants.

chris you need to carry a big tall sorting cane with you.so you might be able to walk in those rough places better.
