We have been sorting cattle into groups this week and I think all of us our just tired of it at this point. The good news is it is finally done now we just have to AI two groups and put Embroyos in another then let the bulls clean things up! It seems like we just started calving now it's time to start all over.

I hate sorting. Maybe when the kids are big enough to help it won't be so bad! We were planning on AI'ing a group of commercial cows this fall, had all the stuff gathered. Between the weather, mean cows, and a ridiculous schedule, we gave up and just turned the bulls out. :)
 
cidrs in the recips today. I sure am glad we don't have to work anything this weekend the forecast is for lots of rain. The 29th we AI heifers the 5th the ET work is scheduled then we AI the mature cows the following week. Our son went over to Marianna today to pick up one of the young bulls that has been on the Florida Bull Test. Starting to see a light at the end of this really long tunnel.
