Sold 7 hd. today, 6 feeders and a cow. The cow was the one I had posted a thread on whom had a tiny little bitty heifer that almost died on us. The vet had only gave it a 10% chance of making it. It survived and I named it Bitty Betty.
Cow - a 12 year old Red Gelbvieh half blood weighed 1500 and brought 105.50 per lb.
Bitty Betty weighed 320 and brought 290.00 per lb.
A solid black heifer weighing 615 brought 210.00 per lb.
A black star face heifer weighing 475 brought 256.00 per lb.
A gold or light red bull weighing 495 brought 269.00 per lb.
A solid black bull weighing 575 brought 254.00 per lb.
Another solid black bull but with horns weighed 465 and brought 261.00
Don't hurt much if any at all to sell them as bulls here but horns can really give you a dock. Got to get the working facilities up to power again and do a little more fixing the calves. Don't know yet if the new bull will be homozygous polled or hetero. but should know by this fall. Anyway just thought I would post a sale report for my area.

Dont sound like you had a bad day. I sold some on monday i was ok with what two of the three brought, the one took a good hit and i was disappointed with it.
